Description

Milestone located 200 meters north-east of Handy Cross, dating from the 18th century. It is made of painted stone and has a square section with a rounded top. The front of the milestone features the inscription '13 Miles to Romsey, 5 to Ringwood', while the rear has the inscription '87 Miles to Hyde Park Corner'.
