Description
Polar Cottage is a Grade II listed building dating from the 18th to 19th century. It consists of two parts: the left side has two bays made of cob, which is rendered and painted, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The right side is an early 19th-century extension, constructed from painted brick and featuring a slate roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows in total, which include both sashes and casements with glazing bars. A gabled porch is present, and there is a 1½ storey outshut on the left side. The overall appearance of the cottage is picturesque.
