Description

April Cottage is an 18th or early 19th century cottage located on Everton Road in Hordle. The walls are roughcast rendering over a cob construction, and the roof is thatched, with hipped form. There are external chimneys on the south side, and additional chimneys elsewhere on the building. The cottage is two storeys high with an original three-window front, and an additional bay extending beyond the southern external chimney. Some early 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars remain. A modern glass lean-to has been added.
