Description

Downton Lodge is an early to mid 19th century building located on Woodcock Lane in Hordle. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. The lodge has two storeys and four windows, some of which have dripstone moulds. The windows are sashes with arched lights and glazing bars. The third bay of the building is slightly advanced and is situated under a gable. There is a verandah with a tented roof on both the left and right sides of the gable on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a lower one-storey western addition to the lodge.
