Description

Hordle War Memorial is a war memorial constructed in 1918 and 1945. It features a tall sandstone cross with a distinctive plinth shaped like a diagonal cross, on which the names of the fallen are engraved. This is set on a hexagonal base and is located in a small lawn by the roadside. The War Memorial is part of a group with the cottage opposite, which is considered a building of local interest.
