BELTON & MANTHORPE SK9239 BELTON PARK, Belton 1315-0/8/84 (East side) 21/09/79 North Lodge in Belton House Drive (Formerly Listed as: BELTON PARK, Belton Lodge at main gates to Belton House) GV II

Lodge. Mid C19, with later C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Stucco front, with hipped slate roof. Central ashlar ridge stack, with coped flue. Single storey; single bay. 3 bay verandah with chamfered wooden posts, covering a 4-light metal framed casement. To left, a beaded 6-panel door. Right return has a C19 wrought-iron bell frame and canopy on the eaves. At the rear, a C19 flat roofed addition. (Kerr M: Survey notes on National Trust properties in Belton: 1985-1989) .
