Description
Two garden urns, dating from around 1810, are located at the south end of the Italian garden northwest of Belton House. Designed by Jeffry Wyatville, these urns are made of ashlar and feature small round shapes with ornamented bases and rolled lips. They are set on stepped square pedestals that have slightly moulded bases, standing approximately 2 meters high. These urns are part of several estate buildings created by Wyatville for the first Earl Brownlow between 1810 and 1820. They are situated within Belton Park, which is registered as grade I on the Garden Register.
