BELTON & MANTHORPE SK9239 BELTON PARK, Belton 1315-0/8/81 Boundary wall on west side of Belton 21/09/79 House Drive (Formerly Listed as: BELTON PARK, Belton Gatepiers & flanking walls (60m S, 50m N) on W side of drive at main gate to ..) GV II

Boundary wall. Early C18 and late C19. Ashlar, with plinth and ramped slab coping. On the west side of the drive, a doorway. At the junction with Main Street, a rounded corner and a square pier with a pyramidal cap. Approx 120m long. The length bordering Main Street, as far as the bridge spanning the River Witham, (qv), coursed squared stone, has a slab coping topped with iron spikes. Approx loom long.
