Description
The boundary wall on the west side of Belton House Drive dates from the early 18th century and the late 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a plinth with ramped slab coping. There is a doorway located on the west side of the drive. At the junction with Main Street, the wall has a rounded corner and a square pier topped with a pyramidal cap. The wall is approximately 120 meters long. The section that borders Main Street, extending to the bridge over the River Witham, is made of coursed squared stone and has a slab coping adorned with iron spikes. This section is approximately 100 meters long.
