Description
Ashley Arnewood, comprising numbers 32 and 34, is an early 19th-century building on Ashley Road in New Milton. It is constructed of painted brick and features wide eaves and a double-span, hipped roof covered in tiles. The main block is two storeys high with six windows, the central three being slightly projected forward. A porch with square pillars and a pyramidal tiled roof is positioned centrally. The windows are early 19th-century casements. Attached is a two-storey, 18th-century wing with two windows, containing sash windows with boxed frames. The building has been divided into two separate houses. Numbers 32 and 34, together with their garden wall, which is an item of local interest, form a cohesive group.
