Description

Fernhill Manor is a building dating from the late 17th century, although parts of the house may date back to the 16th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a wide modillion eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. There is a string course above the ground floor. The manor has two storeys and five windows with casements. A solid porch has been added, which has a tent-shaped roof and wrought iron panels flanking the front door. Long ranges of outbuildings are recessed on both sides of the manor. The building is currently used as a school.
