Description

The water tower on Osborne Road in New Milton dates from the late 19th to early 20th century and is built of orange-red brick. It serves as a prominent landmark in the area. The tower features a corbelled, battlemented parapet and has a western staircase turret with window slits. A string course runs above the first floor, supported by angle buttresses that extend to the top of the parapet. The structure has four storeys, with generally paired windows on each face on the first and second floors, and three windows on the third floor. Brick dripstone moulds are present above the windows and doors.
