Description

The war memorial located in the recreation ground on Ashley Road in New Milton was erected in 1918 and features a tall white stone Celtic cross. The cross has interlaced bas relief on the shaft along with a stylized floral motif and cross. It stands on an octagonal, three-stepped plinth and base, and is enclosed by a low chain rail.
