Description

Number 34 on South Street is a 2-storey building with attics, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a pitched tile roof with a coped gable end. The eaves cornice is made of diagonally set bricks. The building has three ranges of flush-framed sash windows with glazing bars and keystones. There is one hipped attic dormer and a canted oriel window on the first floor, which is topped with a dentilled cornice. The ground floor has been altered. Number 34, along with numbers 32 and 36, forms a group.
