Description

Number 23 on South Street is an early to mid 18th century building constructed of stucco with a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a moulded cornice that conceals the gutter. The front has five ranges of flush-framed sash windows, which have bull-nosed sills, glazing bars, and keystones. The rear of the building is mostly made of coursed rubble and includes pigeon holes. Attached to the main structure is a two-storey plastered wing topped with an old plain tiled hipped roof, along with some old outbuildings.
