Description

Number 17 on Church Street is a building dating from the 18th century or later. It has two storeys, three dormers, and a cellar, constructed from colour-washed brick with rusticated quoins. The façade features two sash windows, and to the right of these is a cantilevered two-storey bay that does not reach the eaves, with a weatherboarded base. The doorway is adorned with a pediment, frieze, and pilasters, and includes a wrought iron scraper and lampholder. This building, along with number 16, forms a group.
