Description
Number 7 on Back Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with brick walls that are colourwashed. The roof is made of old tiles and features a plain wooden eaves cornice. There are two symmetrical end chimneys that are slate hung, and two dormers. The building has three sash windows with glazing bars and a central door that is framed by a Greek Doric portico, which includes fluted columns, pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. The door has panelled reveals and is a five-panelled design, with the top panel being glazed and featuring a double diamond pattern of glazing bars. Additionally, there are iron railings.
