Description

Harley House, located at Nos 8 and 9 on Back Street, dates back to the 16th century. This building features two storeys with an additional storey in the roof. It has a timber frame with brick infilling and a tiled roof. On the first floor, there are two casement windows that are partly set into the roof. The ground floor has three casement windows and two doors. There are four modern dormers added to the roof. Additionally, there are two extra bays on the left that have been recently built to match the original structure. Harley House is part of a group that includes Nos 3 to 10 consecutively.
