Description
The tractor shed at the eastern range of Lea Green Farm dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed barn with a brick plinth and later brickwork, including ventilators above, and it was probably originally weatherboarded. The eastern facade features a large old buttress and has two gabled weatherboarded dormers. There are double doors on the barge, although the western pair is now blocked. The internal timbering is exposed, although some timbers have been replaced. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 2 Downton Fields Cottages, Orchard Cottage, Lea Green Cottage, and other listed buildings off Lea Green Farm.
