Description
The implement shed at Bridge Farm is a Grade II listed building that forms the southern section of the eastern range of buildings at the farm. It dates from the late 18th century to the 19th century and is constructed of brick in English garden wall bond, topped with a pantile roof. The shed is a single storey structure.
On the extreme left, there is a square-headed entry that may have been inserted later. To the right, there is a board door beneath a timber lintel, accompanied by two segmental-arched slatted openings. The section to the right of the door is of later construction. The building features dentilled eaves and gable coping, with a sloped kneeler on the right side. Additionally, there is a wide board door and an oculus on the right gable end. The rear facade is open, supported by square piers with rounded corners. This shed is noted for being part of an unusually unaltered and complete complex of farm buildings.
