Description
A pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, situated on the north side of Christchurch Road in Downton. They are constructed of red brick with grey brick headers and have a tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high with three windows. The outer cottages have gables featuring scalloped barge boards. The windows are early 19th-century casements with glazing bars. Gabled porches are present, also with scalloped barge boards. Orchard Cottage and Lea Green Cottage, along with the listed buildings of Leagreen farm, form a group.
