Description

Old Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century and early 19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, cob rebuilding, and additions, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays and is one and a half stories high, with a lower addition on the side facing the road. The road-facing end has a central plank door beneath a rustic tiled porch. There are casement windows on both floors on either side of the door and in the addition to the right. The roof is half-hipped with a ridge stack located between the road and center bays. The side of the cottage has a door in the far bay and two-light casements, along with an eyebrow dormer next to the door, and the roof sweeps down at the far end.
