Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the early 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, which was once rendered, and features an old plain tile roof. It has an L-shaped layout with a main part consisting of three bays and a one-bay wing that projects from one end. The structure is two stories high, with a 19th-century infill at the inside corner.
The front of the building has a projecting wing on the left-hand bay and an offset plinth. On the right-hand side of the wing, there is a 19th-century outshot porch that is one and a half stories tall, with a door located on the right side. The sashes on the front wing and right-hand bay include a 19th-century tripartite sash, a raised band on the first floor, and 9-pane sashes set under rubbed arches. The roof is hipped with a flat top, and there is a stack at the junction of the ridges.
