Description

Willow Cottage is a mid-19th century house located on High Street, Damerham. It is a two-story, three-bay building, with one bay slightly set back on the left-hand side. The house is constructed of brick with a plain tile roof. The central bay features an unusual nine-panel door recessed under a flat hood. Flanking the door are three-light transomed windows, each set under a rendered arch. On the ground floor, there are three two-light casement windows, also set under rendered arches. The eaves are dentilled, and brick stacks are located at each end of the building. One bay is windowless. Willow Cottage represents a rare survival of an largely untouched mid-19th century house, retaining some original architectural details.
