Description
32 Clarence Street is a mid-19th century house located in York. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has two bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes set beneath cambered brick arches. The left bay includes a doorcase adorned with a modillion cornice and pilasters that have sunken panels. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels and is topped by an overlight. To the left, there is a yard entrance with a six-panel door. A chimney is situated on the right-hand gable. The right gable wall is faced with 20th-century blockwork due to the demolition of adjacent buildings. The interior was not inspected.
