Description
Channel Hill Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed with a timber frame and plastered infill, standing on a brick plinth and topped with a thatch roof. The building features three bays and a smoke bay, and it is 1½ stories high with a farm attached to the rear. The front of the house has a 20th-century door located to the left of center, which is sheltered by a rustic porch with a swept-down roof. In the other bays, there are 20th-century two or three-light casements, and above them, large 20th-century four-light casements are set in a pent-roofed dormer. The roof is half-hipped, with a ridge stack positioned above the door and another at the right-hand end.
