Description
The Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a private house. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster and brick infill, standing on a brick plinth, and has a thatched roof. There is a brick addition that is partly weatherboarded and tiled. The building consists of three bays of timber-frame construction, with an 18th-century bay added to the left and a 20th-century wing at the rear. It is two storeys high, with an outshot at the rear and the complete frame exposed.
The entrance is located in a narrow central bay, which includes a baffle entry and a 19th-century planked door with a top light. On either side of the doorway, there are 20th-century casement windows, either two or three lights. On the first floor, there is an 18th-century two-light casement window and larger three-light casements on either side, each with eyebrows above the heads. The first floor of the left addition is weatherboarded and features a two-light casement window. The roof is hipped, adorned with a decorated ridge and a large three-flue ridge stack positioned in the center.
