Description
The Ship Inn is a 16th-century inn that was refronted in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill, and the front is rendered with tiles on the first floor. The roof is covered with concrete pantiles. The building has three bays and a doorway located to the left of the center, which leads to a baffle entry. On the ground floor, there are three 19th-century two-light casement windows. Above, in the sloping roof dormer, there are three additional two-light casements. The roof is hipped to the right, and there is a large ridge stack to the left of the center, along with a stack on the left end and a freestanding stack on the right hip.
