Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century house located on Love Dean Lane in Havant. It is constructed of flint and thatch, featuring one storey and an attic with four windows. The roof is hipped at the south end and has a low eaves above an outshot, while the north end is half-hipped and there is a catslide at the rear. The cottage has two tiled and gabled dormers with cills at eaves level. The flint walling is accented with red brick dressings, including quoins and cambered arches, and the outshot has boarded walling. The windows are casements, and the entrance is located in the outshot, featuring a 20th-century half-glazed door.
