Description
Ludmore Cottages is a house that has been converted into two cottages, dating from the late 17th century and late 18th century. The building features brick walls constructed in English bond, with some areas of Monk bond, and includes a first-floor band and cambered ground-floor openings. The south-end gable is tile-hung up to the first floor, and there are sections of flintwork with brick dressings, as well as areas of render. The roof is tiled, with a catslide at the rear. The structure may have originally been timber-framed, later clad in brick, and includes a late 18th-century wing that is at right angles to the main building. It is two storeys high with an attic and has irregular fenestration, featuring casements and two plain doorways.
