Description

Goodchild's Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 16th century and 18th century, with some modern additions. It features a small timber-framed hall with a timber-framed extension to the east and north. The roof is covered with red tiles and has half-hipped ends, along with a catslide at the rear (east end). There is a shafted stack located above a large chimney breast inside. The upper walls display an exposed frame, with painted brick used for infill and other walling. The windows are modern casements, and there is a plain doorway. Additionally, there is a modern extension on the north-west corner.
