Description

Black Nest is a building that dates from the 17th century with modern additions. The original section has a small northern addition and a larger extension to the east (rear). It is two storeys tall and features four windows. The roof is thatched and has a half-hipped design. The upper walls of the old part of the building have heavy timbers that are exposed, with painted brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are modern casements, and there is a brick porch that also has a thatched roof.
