Description

Roundhead Cottage is a building that dates from the 16th and 17th centuries, with some modern alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features irregular window placements. The house has a tall frame made of heavy timbers and includes single-storey extensions at both the north and south sides, as well as an outshot at the southern end. The roof is thatched, with a low eaves on the north extension, a half-hipped gable on the south extension, and a hipped south end that also has low eaves above the outshot. The structure has a brick-nogged frame and some boarded walling, along with modern casements and a door.
