Description

Basing Cottage is a 17th-century building with later additions. It is a one-storey and attic structure characterized by its irregular window placement. The roof is half-hipped and covered in old tiles, featuring two hipped dormers with sills set at eaves level. The timber frame is exposed, incorporating brick nogging and other brick walling. Modern casement windows are present, along with a plain entrance door featuring a tile hood.
