Description

This is an 18th-century building of two storeys and three windows, situated on The Street in Old Basing. It has an old tile roof, half-hipped at the ends, with the south end modified to include a small gable and a later brick stack. The eaves feature brick dentil detailing. The walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with cambered ground floor openings and a plinth. The windows are casements. A flat canopy, supported by brackets, covers a solid doorframe, which is set within altered walling suggesting a change to the original entrance and incorporating a flush-panelled door.
