Description
Thackham's Farmhouse is an 18th-century house, although it incorporates fabric from an earlier building. It is two storeys high with a three-window front, the central window being blank. The roof is covered in red tiles, and the exterior walls are red brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with a first-floor band. The windows are casements, and the ground floor openings are cambered. A gabled porch built of brick dates from the 19th century. A lead Sun File insurance sign is affixed to the front wall. The north elevation features a second-floor band and a projecting staircase block.
