Description

Keeper's Cottage is a 17th-century, two-storey timber-framed house with additions from various periods. It features a red tile roof that is hipped at each end and has a large gable on the north side, along with a shafted stack. The exterior showcases exposed timber-framing of different styles and ages, with painted brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are casements. There is an early 19th-century single-storey wing made of tile and brickwork, with some boarding. The southwest end includes a modern section that has a first-floor balcony above a porticoed entrance.
