Description

This is a post office and shop dating to the 17th century with 19th-century alterations and additions. It is a timber-framed structure with an irregular pattern of windows. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped design at each end and three wide, modern gables. The upper part of the building is clad in weatherboarding above the casement windows. Exposed timber framing is present with painted brick infill, alongside painted brick walling to extensions at each end. Modern casement windows are visible, and there are two square-bay shop fronts on the east side.
