Description

Eggars Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. The building has one storey and an attic, with centre and cross wings that rise to two storeys, featuring four ground-floor windows. It has a red tile roof and brick dentil eaves at the base of the tiled gables on each side, along with gabled dormers that have barge-boards. The walls are made of painted brick in Flemish bond, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are square-leaded casements, and there are plain doors set in solid frames.
