Description

WEEVIL LANE 1. 5232 Boundary rails to the Royal Clarence Yard, at its Southern end abutting Weevil Lane SU 6100 5/120 II 2. Mid C19. Short section, associated with St George's Barracks opposite. Cast iron rail on stone kerb. One gateway, with open-framed piers containing ring ornament, and tapering above impost level as an archway to support a central lamp bracket (frame intact). Wider gateway without arch, with similar piers, forming the railway entrance to the Yard.
