Description

1 Church Place is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Fareham. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and features an old tiled hipped roof. The building has two storeys and three windows, which include both sashes and casements set in moulded boxed frames. The entrance door has a moulded architrave and a flat hood supported by brackets. The door is six-panelled, with the top two panels now glazed. This property, along with No 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, forms a group with all the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, as well as the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street.
