7/13 Barn 50 metres south of Lode Farmhouse.

GV II

Barn, with stable and shed extensions. Early and mid c19. Chalkstone, iron- stone and brick walls, slate and tile roof. A rectangular structure at right- angles to the roadway, with at each side extensions alongside the roadway. The main part is of rough chalkstone ashlar, with brick dressings and tiers of vent- ilation slots: ½-hipped slate roof. The east wing has a steep tile roof (to the same ridge height) and walls of stone and brick, above a brick base. The lower, smaller, west wing (or stable) has walls of ironstone, with a chamfered corner, and a hipped slate roof. Included for group value.
