Description
This barn, located 30 meters northwest of Lodge Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of chalk block with narrow brick dressings and features a flint-faced plinth and weatherboard gables. The roof is half-hipped and covered with old tiles. The barn consists of five bays and has two rows of vent slits. On the west side, there are double doors with a segmental brick arch above the center bay. The east side includes lean-to weatherboarded loose boxes that flank a gabled cart entry. Inside, the barn has a double purlin roof supported by queen struts to a low collar and raking queen posts to the upper purlins.
