Description

This barn, located 45 metres north-east of Weller's Place Farmhouse, was built in 1767. It features a 7-bay timber frame with aisles along the long sides. The structure has tall trusses with straight struts that rest on brick base walls. The roof is tiled, with half-hips and a hipped roof over the central waggon entrance. The walls are made of red brick in English bond and include ventilation slots, some of which are filled. The tie-beam and entrance post are marked with the name T. KING and the year 1767.
