Description

Lindsay Cottage, also known as Linzey Cottage, is a small cottage dating from the 18th century, which has been restored and extended in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and thatch, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. The roof is hipped and has low eaves above outshots at both the south end, which is from the 18th century, and the north end, which is from the 20th century. The cottage includes eyebrow dormers. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond with a plinth, and the former central door has been blocked and replaced with a door on the north side. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there is a boarded door.
