Description
Hooker's Place is a house dating from the late 17th century and early 19th century, located in Bentworth Village. It features brick walls and a tiled roof, designed as a lobby entrance house with a central fireplace. The house is two storeys tall with an attic and has three windows. The roof is half-hipped at the west end, where it has low eaves. The main block is constructed with small bricks in Flemish bond, featuring a first-floor band and a high plinth; the west side is also in Flemish bond but has been painted. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame. There are 20th-century additions at the rear, designed to match the style of the original building.
