Description
Manor Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on High Street in Bentworth. It is constructed of painted brick and features a tiled roof. The building has a symmetrical front facing northeast, consisting of two storeys and three windows. The hipped roof is complemented by walls built in Flemish bond, which include rubbed flat arches and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, and there is a 20th-century rectangular bay on the ground floor of the north side, featuring casement windows.
The entrance is highlighted by a Greek Doric porch supported by two pilasters and two columns, featuring a simplified entablature and fluted columns. The plain doorway includes a six-panelled door, two of which are top-lit. The rear elevation is also symmetrical, showcasing wider ground-floor three-light sashes beneath cambered openings and a plain doorway with a decorative fanlight. At the north end of the house, there is a low two-storeyed service wing topped with a hipped slate roof.
