Description

Heron Cottage is an 18th-century building on The Street in Old Basing. It is a two-storey, three-window cottage with an old tile roof, partly hipped. The walls are painted brick in a Flemish bond pattern, featuring cambered ground-floor openings and a high stepped plinth. The windows are casements with coupled square-leaded lights on the first floor. A six-panelled door is set within a wood-boarded porch that has a gabled tile roof.
