Description

Audlam House is an 18th-century building with modern additions, located at No 24 on The Street in Old Basing. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a symmetrical front with five windows and single-storey additions at each end, which are set back on the west side. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, and there are two small gabled dormers. The red brickwork is laid in Flemish bond, with a first-floor band, cambered openings, and a plinth. The windows are casements. The doorway includes a flat canopy, a solid frame, and a six-panelled door. This building served as a bakery and shop until 1950.
