Description

31 The Street is a building that dates from the 17th century and early 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with a one-storey outshot at the rear. The long south-west side features three windows, while the roadside gable has one window. The roof is thatched with a half-hipped design, and the outshots are covered with pantiles. The structure is timber-framed, with the upper part of the north wall exposed, while the rest is clad in red brickwork, using English and Monk bonds. The upper gables are hung with scalloped tiles, and there are wooden casements along with a plain side door.
