Description

No. 30 The Street is a two-storeyed timber-framed house dating from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, with later additions. The house features three windows and has an old tile roof that is half-hipped at the south end, where the gable is adorned with scalloped tile-hanging. The front wall displays an exposed frame filled with painted brickwork in English bond, while the other walls are made of red brick. Some of the ground-floor openings are cambered, and the building has a high plinth. The windows are casements, and there is a plain boarded door.
